Registration for e-VAT!

In the “Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, No: 85/17 of 01.12.2017, Instruction for the registration of users of electronic services by the Indirect Taxation Authority. By adopting amendments to the Ordinance, taxpayers have been granted electronic submitting VAT reports, starting from January 2018. The aforementioned Instruction on the registration of users of electronic services of the Indirect Taxation Authority stipulates the obligation, method and procedure for registration of users on the e-portal.

Starting from the beginning of 2019, all taxpayers will have to submit VAT reports exclusively electronically and there will be no possibility of filing in paper form.

The application for the registration of the primary user is submitted by the authorized person of the taxpayer, by filling in the electronic form Statement on accepting the terms of use of the electronic services via Indirect Taxation Authority portal (https://e-porezi.uino.gov.ba:4443/Account/LogOn?ReturnUrl=%2f). For smooth access to the portal, you should have one of the following versions of the browser: Internet Explorer from version 10, Mozilla Firefox from version 25 or Google Chrome from version 30.

After entering the correct registration data, the Statement on accepting the conditions for the use of electronic services, automatically generated by the system, must be signed and verified, and delivered personally or by post to the relevant regional center: Regional Center Sarajevo, address Zmaja od Bosne No. 47b, 71000 Sarajevo.

After verifying the correctness of the Statement, the Indirect Taxation Authority will activate user account in such a way that they will send the username and password for the e-portal to the email address of the authorized person (primary user).

By using electronic services of the Indirect Taxation Authority, all taxpayers will be able to use their rights and execute their obligations based on indirect taxes in a simpler and more efficient way. At any time, users will have access to their data on the e-portal, primarily data that are kept in the Single Register of Indirect Taxes, data from the tax card, so that they will be able to see all their tax returns and tax payments. In this way, the ITA opens a new chapter in communication with taxpayers.
